The wait is finally over! It has been a few years since the old Death Penalty was put to rest, but the newly redesigned 2011 model DP is here and plans to do everything its predecessor done and more………Shatter windshields, eardrums, and WORLD RECORDS!!  The original DP was designed with two concepts in mind: Price and Performance. The new DP is back this year designed with the same ideals in mind as the original, but with a painful twist. No more standard 4 spoke or 12 spoke baskets. No more “off the shelf” motor designs or standard cones. This year, every part has been customized to our liking. It features a black cast aluminum 8 spoke basket that will be available in 12”, 15”, 18”, and get this…..21”!!  The new motor design is triple stacked 9inch slugs with a black nickel top and bottom plate. ADC, or Air-Driven Cooling is a new method of keeping the voice coil cool by separating the basket and the motor for proper ventilation, this is done effectively with six aluminum column vents. A new custom cone has been added, still made of paper, and black in color of course, but the new cone is much more rigid and will aid in those high SPL applications. A super light 8 layer, flat wound aluminum coil will be used for the high power handling this woofer has to offer. Other features include custom terminals, custom spiders, low gauge woven tinsel leads and a new DP logo on a new larger dustcap.  One more thing about the new DP that makes it great is CILD, or, Center Interlocking Dustcap System which is made for “in the field” reconing. The dustcap simply locks in to the perfect position for gluing so you don’t have to worry about getting it off center. The new, sinister Death Penalty, like all products from Incriminator Audio is designed on the idea of performance first, then looks, but the new lineup of DP series woofers both looks the part, and gets the job done!  FEATURES:
