Replaced a type R alpine and its night and day, this woofer gets lower and with more authority. Sundown is the truth. dont buy something else that your going to replace, get this.

Have two d4 hooked up at one ohm on a sundown saz3000d. In 4.2 cubes with a 8" aero tuned to 32. Sounds pretty amazing for the price point in the subs. Have got them smelly a few times, but that was really pushing them hard. These are very good thermally and are very quiet mechanically. I was doing a 146 in a Camry trunk @29hz. And Camrys suck on the term lab.

These subs got a lot of hype they sound good at 600 rms but after that get hot quick and sound quality in my opinion is great in some areas where lacking in others replaced this sub with re sxx and my opinion the sundown cant even compete

I have two sa12s with an aq2200 wired to 1 ohm and it plays and stays cool if you dont clip the amp and they sound really nice I have mine in a 4 cubic foot L ported box tuned to 35hz and it sounds great.

These subwoofers are one of the best deals around. They play the lows like no other and hit the highs just as good. I have mine in a 4cuft box tuned to 32hz and the low notes play with power! I have an MB Quart ONX2000D giving each about 650w RMS and they sound amazing. These subs can take at least 800+ though. Don't miss out on these!

Amazing subwoofer, can take a lot of power, and sounds AMAZING, i got mine in a 2.3cubes box and it SLAMS, im putting about 800-900 watts on it too, all my friends compliment me on how loud it is. It is a head turner outside too, sitting in traffic, crank it, and watch heads turn.

Definitely worth every penny I spent on it. Ive got mine in a 2 cube box with a 4in wide, 17 in long aero port mounted outside the box. Its tuned to about 29hz and Ive got a AQ 2200D on it with 1100 watts going to it right now and it is slammin. Deff perfect for a system on a budget. I used to have a sundown z.v2 18 and of course it was louder but damn if im not surprised on how one SA12 can do this much. 600 watts RMS my ass haha. GREAT BUY.
