Introducing the XCON, the new pinnacle of sound and output. With a brutally strong single slug motor that has a monstrously bumped back plate, the XCON really sets itself apart from the pack right away. We started with the ideals behind the ICON and went to the ultimate degree with the XCON. With an eye popping 31mm of excursion, the XCON uses a 3" round, 2.6" long, 4 layer Aluminum voice coil, that strong enough handle some serious levels of power, yet is light enough to still be very accurate and precise. To keep the inductance in check, the XCON employs an Aluminum shorting ring. For those high power installs, the XCON runs 5 spiders in total: triple 8" progressive spiders, dual NOMEX spiders and triple flat sandwiched lead wires to handle all the abuse.
For seriously high output installs and sound quality competitors alike, the XCON is at the top of the food chain. With output that has been described as being hit by a sledgehammer and pin point accuracy, the XCON has all the bases covered. You can be proud of your purchase, because the XCON is designed and hand crafted in the U.S.A. The purpose of the XCON is not to match or just beat out the competition, but to make sure there never was competition to start with. There is only one choice in the super sub woofer market and you are looking at it.

I only give these Super duper great subs a 4 star because I haven't put my cresendo 3500d on them yet but that sld be 2morrow. As for now they're each on a 1200 wat 1 ohm mono amp and they are beating real hard, can't wait till 2morrow and I'm sure I will give them a 5 star rating. Mark and Josh was real helpful and patient with me even tho I had a lot of questions

These XCON subs are incredible. I have one XCON 12 under the seat of a 2012 Sierra Denali, and it sounds amazing. I lifted the seat 3 inches, nothing too crazy, and can still use it, and put the XCON in a 2.6 cube box tuned to about 32 hz. The clarity and low end of this sub is a fantastic mix. The subwoofer screams quality, and the added bonus of being built in the USA seals it for me. SSA FOR LIFE!

I have run this subwoofer , in alot of configurations it always impressed me ive ran it with 300w rms and ive ran it with 2500w rms and I can honestly say the sub dose well with low rms but it dosen't come alive until you use past 1000w rms. Ive ran sealed and ported tuned to 30 hz. if you want excellent sound quality and run in a sealed if you want just loud bass that still sounds good run ported.... I prefer sealed cause the sub can hit from 25hz to 80hz no problem but when I was running ported I was having trouble getting it to play anything higher then 50hz...
all in all you can not go wrong with this subwoofer. I dont think ill ever sell it.

Purchased 2 Xcon 12's for my '06 Tahoe after having my JL w7's stolen. Running these on a Rockford 2500bdcp and they absolutely slam. Hit every frequency and have amazing response. Very tight and can move some serious air. If you get these, be ready for some flexin.
Box specs is 5 cubes @ 33 hz.

I had the Icon 12, and decided to go with the Xcon. Im glad I did, the output and quality of this sub is top notch, there is nothing wrong with the Icon but the Xcon is more my taste, it is brutal!!! Im running it off of 1 Zed Minotaur 2, @ 2 ohms. Its made in the USA also!!

After researching around on the net I came across SSA and the xcon line. I ended up purchasing the 12" due to constraints on space and not going with the 15". I designed a box up tuned to 32hz and 2.65 cubes. The sub slams with the sundown 1500. The sub sounds very good and can get very loud. This will definitely be my go to brand for subs and if my friends ever want a sub SSA is what I will recommend.
Good job SSA team!

By far the cleanest and loudest 12" I've ever heard. It takes a while to loosen up the suspension but once it gets loose definately worth the wait.

In my old car I had 2 12" Rockford Fosgate P2's running to an RF t10001bd amp and they hit pretty damn hard.
Since ordering the 12" ported Khaotik enclosure I was sad to find out I did not have enough trunk space for 2 12" again and had to settle for 1 and boy did I chose the right one.. This thing has half the surface area of the 2 12" P2's and hits 4x as hard this little thing is great (but of course there is the obvious difference in power 400w per each p2 compared to the 1750 of the xcon).
I have it powered with a Sundown SAX-1200D which is not up to par with what this sub can handle but it still beats down hard!! Can't wait to upgrade and see how much more it can handle.
I'd most definitely recommend this subwoofer to anyone who's looking for a good 12" to throw alot of power at.

This sub is clean and accurate. It plays lows well works great in the box that I have it in. I am running it off of a Rockford Fosgate T1500-1bdcp and the amp is tuned to my deck with an SMD DD-1. The sub seems to get very hot and quickly. Bottoming out is also a problem. Hopefully it will be better when broken in. I have a fully upgraded electrical system and a yellow top less than 2 feet from the amp. This sub over all is a good product and will make system compleet.
