Introducing SSA GCON, the successor to the outstanding stalwart SSA Gcon. The beloved SSA Gcon was the go-to choice for an excellent balance of sound quality and output for all kinds of daily driving installs that demanded musical response, while not breaking the bank or needing a freight train of power.

The all-new SSA GCON takes it well past the next level, while still being Made-In-The-USA, staying affordable and adding an 18" version. With the all-new SSA GCON design, the added rear cooling channels and addition of more steel overall to the motor, we have increased motor strength and cooling for those installs that want their bass to hammer away for hours without fail. Due to the new bumped back plate, we were able to increase coil length and improve Xmax to ratchet up even more low frequency response than before.

Does your install require you to take it to the extreme? If so, for the first time, we are offering SPL/Demo upgrades. For the SSA GCON, we have made available the ability to customize your SSA GCON with an extra third spider if your goals are to push the mechanical limits of the GCON or want to run a mountain of power in a medium to large sealed box for our home audio crowd. If your plan is to send well above the 950watts rms for extended periods of time or you will compete in the SPL lanes, we are now opening up the option to upgrade to a flat wound aluminum coil and upgraded tinsel leads to dial up the thermal limits to the extreme.

All-in-all, for the most balanced performance, most well rounded sound, very versatile enclosure capability, and stay extremely affordable being Made-In-The-USA, the all new SSA GCON is the premier subwoofer option.
