Second Skin's Luxury Liner™ foil faced fire rated mass loaded vinyl roll is the perfect way to create a Class A fire rated noise barrier. When adding mass to a barrier in a space with fire code restrictions, with a reinforced aluminized foil facing and reinforced scrim, this mass loaded vinyl passes the test!

  • Each roll is 4.5' wide with options for 10' and 20' long options
  • Weight: 1lb per square foot
  • Class A fire rated
  • Great for wrapping pipes, ducts, and valves and for heat protection
  • Tensile Strength: 608 psi
  • Breaking Strength: 200lbs
  • STC rating: 27
  • How does 1lb foil faced MLV compare to standard 1lb MLV? 1lb foil faced fire rated MLV weighs the same per square foot and is just as flexible, but this mass loaded vinyl is Class A fire rated and has reinforced scrim for high tensile strength.
