If SQL was a subwoofer...
I like to consider myself a basshead that moonlights as an SQ Audiophile as well. I want 150dbs from my sub, but I also want it to play well with others and be just another part of the system some times... When I want to show off my front stage and it comes time for accuracy I need my sub to do that .. And when it comes time to SEND IT, throw 3,000 watts and shake the block I want that same sub to become a fkn monster... The ZCON is the closest to perfection any subwoofer I've ever owned has come to this... I've been doing this for 20 years, have owned some major players- DD 9515, RE XXX, RE SX (Original RE), Stroker, Kicker L7s, IDMax, Original Adire Brahama, some of the baddest of their day... and recently Resilient Sounds Platinum, Toro Fierce, offerings from Sundown, Soundqubed, Stereo Integrity, have also had the joy of the F8Ls, Demon, Icon... Id like to think I have a pretty good idea of what a good subwoofer truly is and with that being said when it comes to the entire package the ZCON IMO is #1 on that list. It truly does everything exceptional, there's no real weakness with this subwoofer. And at some 70lbs it's a. frickin monster... Looks smaller than the monster in its own right Platinum, but it's not any lighter that's for sure... But where the Platinum is in absolute beast, loud AF, obviously it's not mistaken as an SQ sub... It sounds great, but when compared to the ZCON, both get loud, the accuracy is where the ZCON sets itself apart ... A truly DEMO worthy sub that is every bit as musical as an IDMAX!!?? If someone is looking for that next level, top of the line subwoofer, 1 that can take all the power these amps are putting out, ability to hit 150db+, go down into the 20hz region, anything u need it to be without having to see that $1,000 price tag the ZCON is an awesome choice. For the price you won't find a better sub, really might only be a few out there that can even stand next to the ZCON at the price point...
