The RC-1 Boost is a cost-effective way to increase soundproofing performance, and also prevent common install issues with resilient channel. Not all resilient channel is created equal - either due to the quality of the channel or the quality of the install. The RC-1 Boost solves assemblies failing to hit their rated acoustical performance, and even increases performance by several points.

  • Increase STC and IIC ratings vs Generic RC-1 channel (STC 60+, IIC 54+)
  • Supports up to 2 layers of 5/8" gypsum board
